Using my Miss Peregrine’s House for Peculiar Children vintage photograph observation skills, I think that this is in fact a dog. Possibly a newfoundland with the head of a bear placed on it. The thing that threw me off most was the long black tail, which, I’m pretty sure black bears don’t have, as well as the photo quality…

So, Nefarious Fauxpod finally recorded again! but alas, there was static for a 30 minute portion of it. Thatzak sent out the bat signal for anybody who could fix it, and someone on twitter has responded and they’re working it out. He uploaded the static-y Fauxpod onto mediafire for the guy to download and fix, but openly disclosing the link, so if you don’t wanna wait for the fixed one, the messed up one is up for listening.
